Chelsea, John Obi Mikel targets MLS switch

Chelsea midfielder, John Obi Mikel, 29, says one day he will join his teammate Frank Lampard in Major League Soccer(MLS).

The centre midfielder, has been with Chelsea since 2006. He told media that he will talk to other clubs in January if he hasn't been offer a new deal by the English Premier League giants.

The Nigeria international has made 354 career appearances for Chelsea in the EPL and cup competition. He won two EPL titles, four FA cups, two league cups, one UEFA champions League and one UEFA Europa League.

He lifted the African cup of nation with Nigeria in 2013 and captained Nigeria to a bronze medal in 2016 Olympics.

Mikel, however said that, "I am happy that Lampard is back to his best, doing what he loves to do and one day, who knows, I may go over there to play against him, or play with him again".
