Queen Elizabeth’s cousin Lord Ivar Mountbatten comes out as gay

In this self-righteous world, where one has to struggle for almost everything, being gay is sort of the hardest of all. And after this, some people fail to understand that sex orientation is not something that you choose, but something that you’re born with.
Father to three children with ex-wife Penelope (Penny) Thompson. Lord Ivar Mountbatten, also a member of the royal family has become the first person to come out as gay. In a statement, he cleared that he has struggled with his sexuality all along.
He’s now seeing James Coyle, an airline cabin services director and they both met while skiing inSwitzerland.
It’s rather funny the way they met, though. James shouted hello to Lord Mountbatten under an impression that he’s his ski guide. During their meet, both were equally attracted to each other and the rest is an interesting story.
In an interview with the Mail, Lord Mountbatten said “Penny was aware before we got married, I told her I was bisexual, that my attraction went both ways. She understood and I will always be grateful to her.”
”Coming out” is such a funny phrase but it’s what I suppose I did in a rather roundabout way, emerging to a place I’m happy to be. I have struggled with my sexuality and in some ways I still do; it has been a real journey to reach this point.’ he added.
He’s quite happy the way he and others have come to the terms of acceptance.
