Former Chelsea striker, Tony Cascarino in a chat with Eagles coach Gernot Rohr, said; Nigeria,Chelsea Victor Moses plays best when used as as wing-back.
Cascarino said Antonio Conte’s decision to reintegrate Moses at Stamford Bridge and name him the Blues starting wing-back has been a masterstroke, a lesson that Rohr can learn from ahead of next month’s 2018 Russia World Cup qualifier against Algeria in Akwa Ibom.
Moses has proven an industrious presence, disrupting Jose Mourinho's side in the 4-0 win over Manchester, Yesterday. "He offers a threat going forward down the right and also works very hard tracking back, which earned him high praise from former Blue Cascarino."
"Antonio Conte’s switch to a 3-4-3 formation has proved to be successful but the new Chelsea head coach’s best move was playing Victor Moses as a right wing back," Cascarino wrote in The Times.
"People at Stoke City told me that he was the fittest player during his loan spell and that athleticism is helping him in his new role. Moses’ recent emergence could prove to be a masterstroke by Conte."
