Man who killed 16 cats and sexually abused one, sentenced to 16 years in prison

Robert R. Farmer, has been sentenced to 16 years in prison for killing 16 cats he abducted from a residential neighborhood.

Prosecutors revealed on 2016 that Farmer, the son of a retired San Jose police Captain, Jack Farmer, abducted the cats from a quiet residential Cambrian Park neighborhood in San Jose and killed them, though only four bodies were found.

He was arrested after cops found him sleeping in a car with the carcass of a female cat, which a necropsy revealed had been sexually abused.
