Bus conductors in Lagos to start wearing uniform and name tags, takes effect today









Information has been disclosed by Comrade Israel Adeshola, the National President of the Bus Conductors Association of Nigeria (BCAN), that from today, August 3rd, bus conductors in Lagos will be required to wear a uniform and name tags for easy identification.


Adeshola said, “the re-branding of bus conductors in the state is a project that has been in the master plan of the Lagos state government in a way to stem criminal activities and also protect the lives and properties of Lagosians”.

“The Lagos State government has approved the association’s uniforms and badges with name tags and identification numbers for easy identification of registered conductors,” Comrade Adeshola who also urged Lagosians to support the initiative, says.

The BCAN project (re-branding of bus conductors), is in partnership with the Lagos State Government.
